Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the SCRIPTED website, the Scripted Discord server, and Scripted Premium memberships (together, "the Service") collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by the Scripted team ("we," "us," or "our"). We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we do not sell your information.

Discord information: your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and the roles you hold in the Scripted server, used to deliver and verify access. Purchase information from Whop: the plan you bought, the amount, currency, any discount code used, purchase and renewal dates, Whop order or membership identifiers, the email address and username on your Whop account, and the status of the payment, including any refund, reversal, or chargeback. Support information: messages, screenshots, receipts, and files you send in support tickets or community channels. Website information: basic, anonymized usage and technical data described below.

We do not receive or store your full card number, card security code, bank account details, Whop or Discord passwords, or payment wallet credentials; these are handled by Whop and its payment partners. The website has no account sign-up form and does not use advertising pixels. We do not read your private Discord messages with other people outside our server.

Our website is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This includes information such as the page URL, referrer, browser, device type, and approximate country, and Vercel describes it as cookie-free analytics. Like any website host, Vercel may process technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The site also saves one preference in your browser’s local storage, called "scripted-motion-paused," to remember whether you turned off animations. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

We use information to deliver and verify Premium access and Discord roles; process and reconcile purchases and renewals; respond to support requests and help with setup; prevent fraud, account sharing, leaks, and abuse; handle chargebacks and payment disputes; moderate the community and enforce our Terms; and improve the website and Service.

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute, we may provide the payment processor with relevant records, such as your purchase details, proof of access being delivered, and your own messages in our Discord server, as evidence.

We share information only with service providers needed to run the Service: Whop for checkout, billing, and memberships; Discord for our community and access delivery; and Vercel for website hosting and analytics. Each processes information under its own privacy policy. We may also share information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and content of Scripted, our creators, and our members. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

You can see your own purchase records in Whop and your own messages in Discord. Purchase and support records are available only to authorized Scripted staff who need them to provide support, manage memberships, or enforce our Terms. Anything you post in public channels can be seen by other members, so please keep personal information out of public channels.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and maintain your membership. Purchase, support, moderation, and dispute records may be kept for longer where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Information held by Whop, Discord, or Vercel is retained under their own policies.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including limiting staff access and relying on the security controls of our providers. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Staff will never ask for your password or full card details.

You can leave the Discord server or cancel a Monthly membership in Whop at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, open a support ticket in our Discord server. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep certain records where we have a legitimate or legal reason to do so, such as completed transactions or dispute records. For information held by Whop, Discord, or Vercel, you can also use their own privacy tools.

The Service is not directed to anyone under Discord’s minimum age requirement, and we do not knowingly collect information from users under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, which may have different data protection laws from where you live.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
